Custom Orthotic Design Program

What It Is

At EMC, we strive for the freedom of mobility for all of our drivers. To better achieve this goal, we offer 3-D printed custom orthotics and W-Series wheels to best meet your driving needs. Choose from our wide range of available custom orthotics, or contact us to develop an orthotic tailored specifically to your requirements so that the inputs can be operated comfortably, correctly, and safely. With our engineering team, and your orthotic vision, we can transform your desires into a reality.

How It Works

Begin by talking with a CDRS about what limitations exist with the standard line up of orthotics. Design a prototype and describe the criteria of what this new orthotic needs to offer. This prototype will be sent to EMC. EMC's engineering team will study the prototype design and begin creating the new orthotic in the CAD program, meeting all critic set forth by the customer. After internal review, we print a prototype and send it to the customer for validation. With the customer happy with the prototype, we print a final copy out of carbon fiber infused nylon.

The Custom Orthotic Program can extend further into other accessories. If you are unable to access secondary controls from the Display, our engineers can fabricate wireless buttons that can placed anywhere they are easily accessed. If you can think it, our engineers can build it!

Custom Fitting Program

What It Is

Some vehicles may need to be modified to better fit the ergonomic and situational needs of the driver. We offer custom fittings at our state of the art facility in Maine to achieve this, employing custom fabrication and product solutions. We ensure that the vehicle can be safely operated with all these modifications.

How It Works

Discuss with a CDRS the limitations you face with a standard vehicle installation, and how they could be adjusted to fit your needs. This information will be sent to our engineers and technicians. They will being designing and prototyping modifications for the chosen vehicle. With an appointment date set, you will travel to the EMC facility for a fitting. The technicians and CDRS will test and adjust the custom solutions employed, providing a bespoke fitting experience, modifying and adjusting all equipment as needed. The end result is a tailored install, meeting your specific ergonomic needs.
