When Scott Bolduc decided to tackle the enormous task of creating an effective and safe method of helping people with disabilities regain their mobility, he knew it would come with challenges. Since then, we have taken every challenge head on to create confidence inspiring products like the AEVIT™ 2.0 System; a comprehensive system with a host of safety and convenience innovations nearly forty years in the making.

AEVIT™ 2.0 System Overview

AEVIT™ 2.0 System is the fourth generation of AEVIT drive-by-wire driving control systems. Each install has like components that aid in the driving functions.

Primary Driving Controls

The AEVIT™ 2.0 System's Primary Controls are broken down into three basic options: Steering only, Gas/Brake only, and Gas/Brake and Steering. Each category has inputs that specifically control each option.

Accessory Products

Accessory Products are not necessary for the primary driving functions of the vehicle, but can make the ride more comfortable. In some situations, an accessory product is required for to access other controls like wipers, turn signals, or shifter.

Secondary Control Options

AEVIT™ Secondary Control Options enable you to customize the controls to suit your needs and budget. The secondary controls are controlled through the display. There are three (3) options to choose from.

Orthotics

AEVIT™ Orthotic Devices are designed to allow driver’s to find a solution that best fits their needs. Tri-Pin type orthotics are designed primarily for drivers with little to no hand function. Joystick orthotics are designed for drivers with hand function. For drivers without hand function, see your dealer/driver trainer for custom splint options.

AEVIT™ RPV

AEVIT™ RPV was developed to meet the increasing demand for unmanned and/or “remotely piloted vehicles” for security, defense, and autonomous applications.
